Brittany Bonnick Interview

Brittany Bonnick |

Good Day! I am currently a student at Everglades High School. I also volunteer every summer at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary to be around the loves of my life. Animals.

What do you see as the biggest changes in your industry?

The biggest changes in my industry, which is my school, would be that children, especially teenagers do not think before they act. Many teenagers are found to be put into a category of being peer pressured. The reality is that we are able to make conscience decisions by ourselves. Whether or not we decide to make the decision is really our choice!

How will these changes impact the public?

These changes will definitely impact the public in both positive and negative ways. Teenagers peer pressure each other for the right and wrong reasons. An example of a good reason is to be pressured to complete your homework or finish your chores. An example of a bad reason is to be pressured to steal or smoke or drink illegally.

What are your biggest goals?

I only have one goal in life. As soon as I become a veterinarian, my life is complete. Ever since I was six years old, I was fascinated by the innocence and yet superiority of animals. I would like to have a small animal clinic, and live a happy life with my family.

Who and what do you need to reach your goals fast?

I really need scholarships for The University of the West Indies for Pre-veterinary sciences and UAB Barcelona for my Bachelor’s and possibly Master’s degrees.

Who should contact you and why?

Anyone from my University choices can contact me because I would like to reach my goals very quickly.
